畫家簡介

馮福全君(漱峰)[1926-2012]生於日本神戶, 五歲隨華籍生父及中日混血母親返回中國經商, 馮氏甚愛作畫, 自少兒起便每天鑽研及自學, 直至青年時隨親友到港生活, 其間,仍能堅持理想,勤奮不倦;除白天於戲院作畫外, 晚上亦在「香港工業專門學院 (Hong Kong Technical College)」(現在『香港理工大學』)習畫進修, 由於力學不捨,終能以『優異』榮譽畢業。此後, 馮氏亦在不同機構(包括「讀者文摘(Reader’s Digest)」)合作插畫或封面等; 另外, 馮氏亦於不同的國際及本地的藝術比賽中屢擭殊榮。 尤於1969年, 其作品在『旅遊協會背境壁畫』(Wall Mural)比賽中脫穎而出,獲得冠軍,作品亦曾置於尖沙咀『旅遊協會』辦事處作為宣傳香港的壁畫。此外, 馮氏亦為『亞洲藝術學會』(The Asia Society of Arts)的榮譽會員, 作品深受外地遊客歡迎。馮氏退休後, 仍間會作畫自娛, 現於網址上載的一系列作品為其早前於中國大陸旅遊時的寫生、香港街頭、漁港寫照及貓兒寫趣等, 冀能公諸同好, 並盼雅俗共賞。

A Brief Autobiography of the Artist

Mr. FUNG Fook-chuen (Sau-fung)[1926-2012], was born in Kobe, Japan. He came with both his father and an Anglo-Japanese mother to Mainland China when he was five years old. Mr. Fung loves drawings and paintings very much, he likes to self-study by himself. When he was a teenager, he has come to Hong Kong with his relative. He was hardworking and sedulous, besides working in a cinema to draw big posters at day times, he still studied at Hong Kong Technical College ( now called “Hong Kong Polytechnic University”) at night. Finally, he has come up with “Excellent” in his graduated diploma.

After that, Mr Fung has worked as an artist and a part-time illustrator of the Readers’ Digest. He has devoted most of the time to draw his favourite products. He specially loves oil paintings, most of the themes were about the “GREEN CONCEPTS” (nature, villages, markets, fishing harbors and landscape scenes). He has won many competitions and one of his masterpieces has collected by the “HK Tourist Association” in 1969 to be its mural ornament of the Tsimshatsui’s office for the propaganda of Hong Kong Tourism. He has also won many prizes on both local and international arts competitions, his works have been collected by both local and foreign collectors and virtuosi. After retiring from his works, Mr. Fung still loves to draw pictures as one of his way to enjoy his life. These series of works uploaded on the website were specially placed for those virtuosi or the persons who loves natural scenes and oil paintings.
